The 2019 Global IT Challenge for Youth with Disabilities
25~29 November 2019, Busan, Korea

I have the honor to invite your Government to attend the 2019 Global IT Challenge for Youth with Disabilities (GITC), which will be held as an associated event of the ASEAN-Korea commemorative summit from 25(Mon) to 29(Fri) November 2019 in Busan, Korea.

Since 2011, Rehabilitation International Korea(RI Korea) has been holding the GITC tour of the Asia-Pacific region in order to resolve the digital divide for peoples with disabilities in the Asia Pacific region. Now the GITC has grown every year in terms of scale or content, such as participation by more than 20 countries, hosting national preliminary rounds, participation by the government, and responsibilities of each country

Last year, especially, the government of India was successfully held through active management such as MOU with the association and financial investment. This year, as we did in 2014, we are pushing for the ASEAN-Korea commemorative summit in Busan, Korea, especially with the first lady of the ASEAN countries


1.Application period:  ~ Until July 26th

3. eLearning:
- eLearning period: 22th April ~ 16th June (Twice a week, eight weeks)
- Mentoring method: 1 (teacher) to 2~3 (youths) (weekly monitoring by mentors), collective education, self-study
- Provide eLearning at least three times (12persons) of the final selectees
- Submit monitoring sheet and final monitoring by the end of June, 2019
